As a professional who works with parents in the perinatal period (including midwives, doulas, GPs, physios, therapists and other professionals), you’ve probably been asked about baby carriers before. And as carriers and slings become more commonplace, you’ll likely get asked even more questions. Maybe you work with new parents who are overwhelmed and confused with their baby carrier or sling. Perhaps they complain to you about not getting a break from a clingy baby, or juggling the needs of multiple children.

Helping new parents with babywearing can enable them to meet their baby’s needs as well as their own. But to ensure a baby carrier or baby sling is used safely, optimally, and comfortably, you need to make sure they follow current guidelines. Without proper babywearing training, you may unknowingly provide babywearing information to your clients that could be misinterpreted or is ill-informed. This could lead to unsafe practices and an uncomfortable experience for parent and child.

Our in-depth training course is designed for professionals who work with parents in the crucial perinatal period – before, during, and after birth. It’s also ideal for businesses that involve babywearing (whether you already own one or plan to start one soon), as well as parents who want to expand their own knowledge and skill set.

Study at your own pace from home, on a schedule that suits you and learn:

  • Crucial safety guidelines
  • Optimal positioning of hips & spine
  • Baby carrier types
  • Essential carrier fitting techniques
  • Wrapping methods
  • Achieving the best outcomes for caregivers
  • How to start a Babywearing business or service
  • + much more

Your educators, Brooke and Kellie, have extensive experience in babywearing, babywearing consultancy, baby carriers, and running a babywearing business. Once you complete our online babywearing training, you’ll have the solid foundation you need to confidently advise new parents on safe and correct babywearing practices, so they’ll be become more connected than ever with their thriving baby.
